Meet Our Pastor and wife

Chuck Vitel and his wife, Sue, moved from Elgin, IL to Ingleside and began their ministry at CROSSPOINT CHURCH [previously Fox Lake Baptist Church] on December 13, 1999.

Pastor Chuck is a graduate of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL and brings a diverse work background: US Army veteran, time as a special agent for the FBI, insurance sales, corporate risk management, college Bible instructor, and the former senior pastor of the Elgin Evangelical Free Church. Just prior to coming to our church he was the interim pastor of Liberty Community Church in Lindenhurst.

He has a passion for the lost and a love for God's Word. He is a gifted leader, a skilled problem solver, and a clear communicator.

Pastor Chuck & Sue love to kayak, bike, and walk as their way to relax and have fun.  O' yes, they spend a lot of time with their grandchildren.
